Clay Nickens is a Senior Director at Pointe and leads commercial due diligence, value creation, and growth strategy projects in our Private Equity practice. With over 10 years of experience advising investors, Clay ensures we bring the best of Pointe’s thought partnership to each engagement and prospective investment.

Previously, Clay led the marketing and strategy groups for the nation’s largest and fastest-growing autism therapy organization as their Vice President of Growth & Strategy, growing the company to nearly 10,000 children served and over $1B in revenues. Clay began his career at Bain & Company, where he was a Senior Manager in the Private Equity Group with industry specializations in technology, software, and healthcare.

Outside work, Clay volunteers with local Houston organizations to create opportunities for the next generation of Houstonians.
